This weekend was fun and productive. We went to an alumni luncheon on Saturday. It was interesting. There were even a couple of people I knew and hadn't heard from since they graduated. It was fun to catch up. I didn't really meet anyone new since all the alumni before '97 sat at the other table. We also got the yard raked and the driveway swept. I think it looks much better. And we finished sanding the shelves we started building several weekends ago. Now we just have to paint them and put them together. Someday I will have storage. Saturday we had dinner at Outback with Adam and Marianne. It was wonderful: bloomin onion, steak, and peach slush. Mmm, so tasty. Sunday we made beer battered halibut. I purchased fresh halibut at the farmer's market on Friday. It was our first attempt and turned out very tasty. We had so much spare batter we ended up making onion rings too.

Well, another Monday and not much done. I really need to spend less time on the internet. It just sucks too much time and motivation. I've started reading a couple of forums. It's amazing how much time that can take. I guess it's a good thing I can no longer read rgsb, but I wish I could. This whole getting dark earlier doesn't help either. I think my day should be over, so my motivation is gone. But it's not really that late. I'll do better tomorrow; I promise.
