How I Spent My Afternoon
This is a screenshot of my desktop on Falkor my PC. After much downloading and configuring Falkor can now pretend to be a Mac. I think it's shiny.

Thought I'd join the party, but I probably won't say much.

Is this a Windows front-end? It looks pretty neat but I would think it would slow your PC down.
Yep; Windows XP. It's fun, and I haven't really noticed any lag issues yet. But then my really awsome computer (Athlon XP 3000+ 2.16Gig & 1Gig of RAM) does little more than surf the web and play the sims 2.
Awwww Sims 2? But nobody dies in that. What fun is playing a game without violence? Right now I'm eagerly awaiting the release of Guild Wars. I've been playing the beta and it's pretty fun. Think of it as a Diablo MMORPG without a monthly fee.
PS - that's a hefty system for just web-surfing and Sims 2. You sound like a typical Best Buy customer.
No one will play Age of Kings with me anymore. When I built the system, it was supposed to be made of parts we had around the house. But the mainbord kept being quirky. So I got a new one (which necessitated new processer and ram). And when you go to Fry's to get new parts, the cool parts aren't _that_ much more. Besides sometimes it plays other games. We recently played the newest Msyt. And I do have more taxing games around that didn't play well on my old system, but now I'm adicted to the Sims again.
Sounds like I should check out Guild Wars. I enjoyed Diablo and dislike monthly fees. That's what's kept me away from the others.
